Authorities and permits

I assist with building permits, preliminary planning enquiries, technical documents and coordination with the building authorities, land registry, property registry, notary and other administrations. I also review questions regarding existing buildings, use, legality and possible regularisation.

Design planning

I develop individual designs for new-build projects, conversions and renovations in Andalusia, adapted to your wishes, the plot, the existing building and Spanish building regulations. The aim is a clear, realistic and buildable concept.

Technical design

For the construction phase, I prepare drawings, details and technical specifications so that offers can be compared and the works on site can be clearly coordinated. I take into account materials, construction systems and the particular conditions of existing buildings.

Site supervision

During the construction phase, I provide technical site supervision and check the execution on site with regard to planning, construction quality, materials, details and coordination between the parties involved.

I work locally with reliable specialist consultants, arquitectos técnicos, craftsmen and contractors. Depending on the project, traditional construction techniques, local materials, energy efficiency and the careful treatment of existing buildings may also be part of the work.

Through my long-standing work in Cádiz and Andalusia, I know the regional construction methods, permit procedures and typical risks when building and renovating in Spain. I work in German, Spanish and English.
